Ever wanted to help out at the local dirt jumps and didn’t know where to start? Well, come on out to the Trash Pit at La Tierra in Santa Fe, NM to get the low-down from the folks at I Ride NM. I Ride NM is a local nonprofit out of Santa Fe, NM that works with the city of Santa Fe to build and maintain gravity-oriented mountain bike and bmx parks within the city limits.

We will meet at the trailhead parking lot at 9 am, go over safety precautions and general goals, and then break into groups to tackle various lips and landings in the park.

Attendees will be given a handout describing how to assess jumps for maintenance, how to execute the necessary work, and how to become a steward!
